One of Melbourne's water supply reservoirs, with overflows ultimately leading into the Yarra River. The reservoir sits in Kinglake NP, with the surrounding picnic area part of Toorourrong Reservoir Park. The range in the distance is still recovering from the 2009 bushfires, with Mountain Ash trees needing 20 years to regenerate. There is a 'Black Saturday' bushfire memorial in the park.
