Wollemi Pine Detail
Technically not a pine, the critically-endangered Wollemia tree (Wollemia nobilis) survives in the wild in only one place – Wollemi NP in NSW. Since being found in 1994, seeds have been collected and shared around the globe, with this planting thriving in a suburban Melbourne garden. Pictured here is a female cone.
