Regrowth after deliberate burnoff
Parts of bushland surrounding Anglesea township have been deliberately burnt to reduce future bushfire severity
Closed in August 2015, this former coal-fired power station is scheduled to be 'regenerated' back into bushland over the next 10 years. In May 2018, after asbestos removal, there was an unsuccessful demolition attempt of the main buildings. A second attempt on 3rd October 2018 levelled the remainder, except for the chimney, which will be turned into a lookout tower.
